Partial Wedding Planning
A Little Help, Please …
You’ve got the planning underway—but there are a few areas where having an experienced wedding planner in your corner would make all the difference.
Our Partial Wedding Planning service is designed for couples who want to remain actively involved in planning their wedding but need professional guidance in specific areas. Rather than taking over the entire planning process, we focus our planning support around three dedicated planning sessions tailored to your unique needs.
Those sessions might focus on vendor selection, design direction, complicated logistics, rentals, transportation, guest experience, or simply helping you work through an area where you feel stuck. We bring years of wedding-planning experience to the conversation, helping you evaluate options, anticipate potential challenges, and make confident decisions.
As your wedding approaches, our role transitions into comprehensive Wedding Day Management. We develop your detailed timeline and floor plan, coordinate final logistics with your vendor team, direct your rehearsal, and manage the wedding day from setup through the conclusion of your celebration.
Think of it as professional planning expertise where you need it most—with experienced execution when it’s time to bring everything together.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Partial Planning includes everything offered through our Wedding Day Management service, plus additional professional planning support earlier in the process. You’ll receive three dedicated planning sessions focused on the areas where you need our expertise most. It’s ideal for couples who are comfortable handling much of the planning themselves but want experienced guidance with a few of the bigger decisions or more complicated pieces.
-
That depends entirely on where you need us most. Your sessions can focus on vendor selection, design direction, rentals, transportation, ceremony logistics, guest experience, complicated venue logistics, or another area where you could benefit from professional guidance. We tailor those sessions to your wedding rather than following a predetermined checklist.
-
Unlike Wedding Day Management, Partial Planning gives you access to your planner earlier in the planning process. We’ll establish your planning sessions based on your wedding date, progress, and the areas where you need assistance so that our time together is used when it will be most valuable.
-
Yes. Vendor curation can be one of the areas we assist with during Partial Planning. Rather than simply handing you a generic preferred-vendor list, we can help identify experienced professionals who make sense for your location, style, priorities, and specific event needs. The couple remains responsible for final vendor selection and booking unless otherwise specified in your agreement.
-
Yes. We can review vendor proposals and contracts as part of your planning support, with a focus on services, timing, logistics, and how each vendor’s responsibilities fit into the overall wedding plan. While we’re happy to flag questions or potential concerns based on our experience, our review is not a substitute for legal advice.
-
Yes. Partial Planning can include design guidance to help you develop a cohesive look and guest experience. We can help you think through elements such as rentals, linens, layouts, florals, décor, and how your selections work together. Partial Planning provides guidance and direction rather than the comprehensive design development included with Full Planning.
-
Budget development and cost-saving recommendations are not included with Partial Planning. We can help you understand how particular vendor choices or logistical decisions may affect the overall event, but couples remain responsible for developing and managing their wedding budget.
-
As your wedding approaches, your service transitions into our comprehensive Wedding Day Management process. We’ll review final details, develop your customized floor plan and comprehensive wedding-day timeline, communicate with your vendor team, coordinate your rehearsal, and manage the logistics and execution of the wedding day.
-
Absolutely. We build a comprehensive timeline based on the realities of your specific wedding—not simply a list of scheduled events. We account for vendor arrivals and setup, photography, hair and makeup, transportation, ceremony cues, catering and bar service, formalities, entertainment, transitions, breakdown, and the many behind-the-scenes details that affect how your day actually flows. We also create a customized floor plan based on your venue, guest count, rentals, and event needs.
-
It happens! If your planning needs grow beyond the scope of Partial Planning, we can discuss whether additional planning services or an upgrade to Full Planning makes sense, based on availability and where you are in the planning process.
-
We provide Partial Wedding Planning throughout Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Wilmington, Beaufort, New Bern, and surrounding areas across the Carolina coast. Select destination weddings and events outside our primary service areas may also be available.
